vvktqk Little Weather Wheel Activity Board
Make a small ritual of noticing the day.
Make a small ritual of noticing the day. Look outside together, choose a weather picture and turn the dial to the symbol that best matches the sky. Move the captive slider and invent a short story about what the weather might mean for an imaginary outing.
A little conversation about the sky
The weather board offers a simple way to pause and notice an ordinary day. A large picture dial brings together familiar weather symbols, while an additional turning disk and captive slider provide different movements to explore. The natural wood background and soft colours keep the symbols easy to see. It can become the starting point for a morning conversation or a story about where the day's play might lead.
There can be more than one answer
The sky might be cloudy now and sunny later, or rain might appear in one part of an imagined journey. Turn the dial to a picture, move the slider and describe the reason for the choice. A grown-up can ask what clothes a story character might choose or where an outdoor adventure should take place. The board is a play activity, not a weather instrument, forecasting device or calibrated temperature gauge.
Make a familiar ritual your own
Keep the board in a shared play area and return to it whenever a child wants to talk about what they can see outside. The different controls can be explored one at a time or combined into an invented daily report. There are no written facts to memorise before play begins. Use the pictures as prompts, welcome the child's own descriptions and compare the scene again when the weather changes.
One more way to play
Choose a favourite toy as a weather reporter and give it a tiny forecast to announce. Decide whether its imaginary picnic needs a raincoat, a shady tree or a warm blanket. If the real sky looks different later, return to the pictures and explain what has changed using the childβs own words.
What is included
One weather activity board with rotating dials and a captive slider. Background furniture, plants, unrelated toys and other scene styling are not included.
Care and everyday use
Inspect the toy and its components before each session. Use in a clean, dry play area and set aside any damaged part. Follow the care instructions, assembly guidance, warnings and age grading supplied with the manufactured product. Adult participation is recommended, and packaging should be removed before play. Keep the complete set together after use so it is ready for the next little adventure.
